We completed our first cohort of Healing Ourselves in November 2024, a healing retreat designed for BIPOC and BIPOC-led. Stay tuned for future cohort announcements. Whether you're taking the first steps towards understanding racial equity and BIPOC-led healing or seeking to deepen your commitment to anti-racism and decolonization, our workshops offer a space for learning, growth, healing, community, and transformative action.

Racial Equity Program Updates 2024
Title Track is committed to positively impact the experiences of all people in Michigan and understands a focus on racial equity is imperative. As we approach our fifth anniversary on Earth Day 2024, we will be sharing updates on our racial equity programming this coming week highlighting a different program each day.

We’re thrilled to welcome author, activist, playwright and teacher, Maryann Lesert, to State of Water. Maryann’s new novel, Land Marks, will be published on April 16 and is the culmination of more than 2 years of research where she visited all of the fracking sites across Michigan.

Honoring Sally Van Vleck
For the occasion of Women’s History Month, Title Track wishes to give our deepest gratitude and love to Sally Van Vleck. Not only is Sally the cofounder of our parent organization (the Neahtawanta Research and Education Center) and a founding board member of Title Track, but she is a singular hero who has been a touchstone and a guiding light to us as an activist, organizer, healer, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and now great-grandmother.

Black Excellence spotlight: Rachel Marco-Havens
Rachel Marco-Havens is an enigmatic artist, musician, healer, organizer and activist. Raised under the influence of the Woodstock Music Festival, Rachel has used her enormous talents and voice to advocate for water protection, racial equity, and climate justice. Rachel is a multi-disciplinary “solutionary” artist and we were fortunate to have Rachel as a Board member here at Title Track until 2023.

Black Excellence spotlight: Kaylan Waterman
Kaylan Waterman is a founding board member of Title Track, a musician, community organizer, artist advocate, and a Detroiter. Kaylan has been essential in the building and growing of Title Track over these first 5 years and we are deeply grateful for her service. Check out Kaylan's newly released EP through her musical project, Vespre, “things we want to know.”
