Earlier this month we were thrilled to launch our RiverQuest program with a week long summer camp for 20+ 9-14 year old youth from Flint. In partnership with Girls Rock Flint and the Factory Two maker space, we shared together in a week of powerful learning and creating. Highlights of the week included canoe trips on the Flint River with indigenous leaders, youth-led songwriting projects inspired by our experiences outdoors, and a full production concert for family and friends where the original songs created during the week were performed.
