Introducing the Synapse Archives Project

Synapse was a publication produced by our parent organization, the Neahtawanta Research and Education Center (NREC). Our intern, Coda Mix, recently made the trip up Old Mission Peninsula to the Neahtawanta Inn to receive a stack of issues of Synapse from Sally Van Vleck, the innkeeper, co-founder of NREC, and founding board member of Title Track. Coda will be sharing a few select articles with her own personal reflections as she endeavors to archive these wonderful issues digitally. The first is a piece written by renowned meteorologist Dave Barrons on Earth Day 1990.
