We are deeply moved by the dedicated participants who just completed our ninth cohort of Understanding Racial Justice. These folks showed up with such inspiring openhearted presence and courage as we journeyed through the five week course together. We look forward to keeping in touch as we carry forth commitments of accountability and solidarity with new tools to engage our families, work places, and communities in the pursuit of racial justice and collective liberation.

Our upcoming cohort begins next week and will meet via zoom on Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7:30pm ET, May 17th to June 14th. Seats are still available for our tenth cohort and registration is open to any white person living in the United States. This course is designed for folks with little or no anti-racism or anti-oppression training who are interested in developing tools to support development of an embodied antiracist identity. Scholarships and sliding scale are available. Register by May 17th at noon ET.

As our closing ritual to each Understanding Racial Justice cohort we invite participants to reflect and complete the following prompt, that we learned from antiracism educator and leader, Dr. Beverly Daniel-Tatum.

(Before the course) I felt…
(During the course) I found…
(Now) I feel…
