Juneteenth events this weekend!

Our partners at Northern Michigan E3 are hosting several Juneteenth events this weekend – a family-friendly walk/run fundraising event on Saturday and a block party-style celebration on Sunday featuring food, local artisans, and educational opportunities. “By recognizing Juneteenth, we are not only celebrating the emancipation of all slaves in the U.S., and we are also uplifting and celebrating Black Americans, their/our culture, and their/our contributions to the world.  Join us as we gather in beloved community to celebrate this important holiday!”
