People’s Hearing Tour comes to Detroit June 27
Title Track is honored to be a co-sponsoring organization for the Michigan People’s Hearing in Detroit on June 27.
This one-day public gathering will center on testimonies and cultural celebration, lifting up community-based solutions to end threats to people’s health, land and work. This event invites communities from across Michigan and surrounding regions to come forward to keep our environmental justice aspirations alive, setting in motion what comes next to find a way out of the chaos, harm, and silence so many are suffering. The People’s Hearing Tour is a national call to courage, care, and collective action. Across the country, frontline activists and community members are testifying to the real impacts of pollution, displacement, and economic inequity while lifting up community-driven solutions. Representatives from over 31 state have attended the three previous People’s Hearings in Greensboro, NC; Tuscon, AZ; and Pittsburgh PA.
