Healing Ourselves Skill Swap in Flint this May 17

For BIPOC communities, self-care is not just an act of personal wellness, it is an essential practice of generational healing and resistance against the effects of historical and systemic oppression. Practices like herbal medicine, self-massage, and breathwork have been woven into our ancestral traditions for centuries, offering pathways to healing that honor the wisdom of those who came before us. By reclaiming these practices today, we actively disrupt cycles of stress, trauma, and burnout that have disproportionately impacted our communities due to colonization, systemic racism, and generational hardship.

Join us in Flint for the Healing Ourselves Skill Swap on Saturday, May 17, from 1-4pm at the Gloria Coles Flint Public Library Central Room!
