Collaborative Songwriting for Collective Liberation travels to Americana Song Academy!
“This brand new song emerged quickly from the hearts and minds of about 10 people in my “Collaborative Songwriting for Collective Liberation” class at the Americana Song Academy at Caldera last week. Here we are guiding the whole group in singing it first thing in the morning, to warm our hearts and voices!
I am filled with gratitude, inspiration, and awe, having just returned to Michigan after an epic week at the Americana Song Academy and Sisters Folk Festival in Central Oregon. We all experienced beloved community and it was an honor to be invited to share my work with so many good humans.
