Earthwork Detroit Music Festival
Three years in the making, Title Track is working with William Copeland (aka Will See) and a network of partners to bring an all ages cultural event to Detroit, inspired by the Earthwork Harvest Gathering. This one day happening will take place on Wednesday, July 10 at the Dequindre Cut Greeway, and will celebrate cultural resilience and our local social ecologies. The musical lineup will proudly feature notable acts in folk, hip-hop, funk, neo-Soul, and rock n’ roll.
Community leaders will address the crowd between bands, interactive workshops will take place throughout the afternoon and evening and youth programming will be central to the event. The first Earthwork Detroit Music Festival will benefit the Detroit Black Community Food Security Network which is preparing to open a food co-op in the heart of our city. This is where resistance, community, and culture meet and it will be a funky good time.
