Title Track is the home of the Clean Water Campaign for Michigan, initially launched in February 2018. With a deepening commitment to equity, justice, and youth, the Clean Water Campaign for Michigan seeks to be a social movement that uses music and storytelling to motivate groups and individuals to step into advocacy and stewardship, ensuring the protection of our waters for generations to come. Building upon the success of our first year, the Clean Water Campaign represents an opportunity to place clean water issues front and center by partnering with environmental organizations across the state to educate and mobilize citizens and political leaders alike to take a strong stand on critical issues affecting Michigan’s waters.
An original Title Track video series featuring musicians sharing intimate performances of the title track from one of their albums. Musicians will also share behind the song stories and reflections on a current issue or call to action.
The CWC uses storytelling & music events across the state to amplify the groundswell of public support for clean water issues & motivate people to step into advocacy and stewardship that will create lasting & meaningful change.
Featuring captivating interviews with Michiganders from many walks of life, “State of Water” is the official podcast of the Clean Water Campaign for Michigan. State of Water focuses on clean water issues and their relationship to policy, equity, community and climate.
In July 2019, Title Track co-facilitated a creative empowerment & ecological education project for youth through canoe trips with indigenous leaders on the Flint & Saginaw Rivers culminating in a widely promoted production of their youth-led songwriting & recording projects.

On May 13th, Title Track co-executive directors Holly T. Bird and Seth Bernard participated in the Indigenous-led “Evict Enbridge” events on the Straits of Mackinac, featuring a talk from Winona LaDuke and calls demanding the immediate shutdown of Line 5, in accord with the Governor’s Executive orders.
